We’re pleased to share that we’ve now released Blast Gold from the Round 1 distribution to our Spacebar community!
Last week, Spacebar became eligible for 224,305 Blast Gold in the Round 1 Blast Gold distribution — split into:
- Big Bang Winners Blast Gold: 63,830 Blast Gold
- Mainnet Dapp Blast Gold: 160,475 Blast Gold
We believe that Blast Gold from these two tranches should be kept separate, and used to incentivize different user behaviors on Spacebar.
Mainnet Dapp Blast Gold Distribution Methodology
80% of Mainnet Dapp Blast Gold will be distributed to Spacebar users, proportionate to the number of Spacebar Points they hold. This ensures that users that have staked ETH in Spacebar or actively engage in Spacebar are thoroughly rewarded. The remaining 20% will go into a Spacebar Loyalty Program, of which details will soon be made available to the Spacebar community.
Blast Gold from Round 1 will be released to users on a weekly basis until Round 2, which is expected to be 3 weeks from now. The first distribution from Round 1 accounts for 66.7% of total, by taking into account that Spacebar has been live on Blast for ~1mo. The remaining 33.3% will be distributed equally over the remaining two weeks — at 16.6% per week.
Going forward, Spacebar will conduct weekly snapshots of every user’s Spacebar Points. Future distributions of Blast Gold will be awarded based on the difference in Spacebar Points between weekly snapshots — thus rewarding users on Spacebar for their continued engagement on our platform.
Big Bang Winners Blast Gold Distribution Methodology
63,830 Blast Gold will be distributed as community incentives, of which details will soon be made available to the Spacebar community. This Blast Gold will be used to reward users in upcoming featured products on Spacebar — including Squares, Blastships, tournaments, and other actions that contribute to the Spacebar ecosystem.
